What you'll do
- Develop real-time tutoring systems incorporating voice, vision, and memory capabilities
- Work with large language models to design context-engineering approaches for understanding student needs
- Create memory systems informed by cognitive science and agent research
- Partner with product and design teams on student and parent interfaces
- Assess LLM effectiveness in improving learning outcomes across subjects
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Demonstrated ability to build and ship complete systems
- Strong TypeScript/Next.js (frontend) or Node/Python (backend) — ideally both
- Experience developing LLM agents or willingness to rapidly acquire this skill
Ideal candidate: Engineers who flourish amid uncertainty, value human-centered education, embrace engineering challenges with unreliable components, and maintain continuous learning habits.
Generalist (Founding Ops / GTM)
Own go-to-market strategy, operations, and growth initiatives. Scale from early pilots to thousands of students.
What you'll do
- Own customer acquisition and partnership development with educational institutions
- Build scalable operational systems
- Track key performance metrics
- Conduct user research with students and educators
- Address diverse needs across multiple business functions
What we're looking for
- 2+ years in operations, growth, or go-to-market roles (startup experience preferred)
- Strong analytical and data capabilities
- Excellent cross-functional communication abilities
- Self-directed problem-solving approach
- Genuine interest in educational equity and AI's potential
Ideal candidate: Someone thriving in early-stage environments who enjoys versatility over specialization, demonstrates resourcefulness under constraints, maintains flexible conviction in decision-making, and prioritizes accessible quality education.
