Use Your West Virginia ESA for AI Tutoring

Yes. Tutoring is an eligible expense with no category cap, meaning homeschooling families may apply the entire $5,435 award toward tutoring if they choose.

All West Virginia students qualify beginning in 2026-27. Private school and homeschool students are eligible for the first time. More than 20,000 new families applied this year.

Apply March 2 through June 15 for full funding. Later applications receive prorated awards. The program is disbursed quarterly through Student First Technologies.

Where Aristotle supports Direct Pay, no: your ESA pays Aristotle directly through the program portal. Other programs use reimbursement, meaning you pay first and submit documentation for approval. We will confirm which method applies before you enroll.

Everything your program requires: itemized invoices with the student's name, service dates, and subjects covered. We also provide progress reports and vendor approval documentation on request.

Each student's ESA funds are separate, so each student requires an individual invoice. We prepare these automatically when you sign up.
