How a voice AI tutor works
For parents of middle and high school students
A voice AI tutor works like this: the student speaks, the tutor listens, and the next move is a question, not a solution. Aristotle is built that way. It draws the work on a shared whiteboard while the conversation is happening, and the student can interrupt at any time.
Aristotle is a voice AI tutor for middle and high school students. Intro is free with three sessions. Infinite is $199 a month for unlimited sessions in every subject, with a one-week free trial. See how Aristotle's voice AI tutor works.
What happens after the student starts talking?
They say what is confusing, or they start on a problem they uploaded. Aristotle listens live. It sketches the steps, diagrams, and notes on a whiteboard both of them can see. Then it asks what they think comes next.

If the answer is wrong, it does not dump the fix. It asks about the step that broke. If they cut in, the tutor follows the interruption instead of finishing a speech.
Why not just give the answer?
A student who hears the solution can copy it. A student who has to say the next step has to think it. Aristotle is built around that second path. Chat tools are built around the first.
What carries into the next session?
The tutor remembers where they stopped and how they like things explained. Raw audio is not stored. Here is what is kept, and who sees it.
| What is kept | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Where they stopped | The next session starts from the last step, not from scratch. |
| How they like things explained | So explanations build on what has worked before. |
| Session summary | Sent to parents after every session. |
| Whiteboard and transcript | In the dashboard, so the family can see what was covered. |
How do you see it work?
Start free with three sessions, or try Infinite free for a week. Bring a problem they are actually stuck on. Talk it through. If it is not a fit, cancel from the dashboard.

Questions parents ask
What happens when my child starts talking?
Aristotle listens, draws on a shared whiteboard, and asks a guiding question instead of giving the answer. Your child can interrupt at any time.
How does it know where my child is stuck?
It listens to how they explain each step and follows the work on the whiteboard. When a step goes wrong, it asks about that step before moving on.
Does it remember the last session?
Yes. Next session it picks up where they stopped, including how they like things explained.
What subjects can a voice AI tutor teach?
Aristotle covers math, science, English, history, languages, and test prep.
