Internships
We're an 8-person, seed-stage team building the world's first truly personal AI tutor. Interns join us in Hayes Valley to work directly with the founders, own high-leverage problems, and help derisk the company week over week.
AI Operations Intern
Design scrappy AI-driven workflows that keep Aristotle running smoothly—connecting data sources, automations, and humans so we can teach more students with fewer clicks.
You’ll hunt for bottlenecks across product, support, and GTM; stitch together Gumloop/Zapier/Python tools; track reliability; and codify playbooks the rest of the team can run. By the time you head back to campus, you’ll have launched an automated ops system that saves the team hours every week and is still running in production.
Software Engineering Intern
Ship core product features alongside our founding engineers—voice + vision tutoring loops, realtime LLM orchestration, and the infra that keeps sessions sub-second.
Expect to spec, build, and launch end-to-end projects: agents that manage lesson plans, memory systems that persist across weeks, or UI that helps tutors debug cognition in real time. You’ll wrap the summer with a full-stack feature in students’ hands, complete with metrics showing how it improved real tutoring sessions.
Product Management Intern
Own a critical 0→1 product problem: build the student research loop, define success metrics, write specs, and sit with engineers to iterate every few days.
You’ll synthesize signal from classroom pilots, prioritize ruthlessly, run experiments, and translate messy qualitative insights into crisp decisions the team can ship on. You’ll finish the internship having shepherded a 0→1 product from research to rollout with clear impact numbers to share.
Generalist Intern
Be the utility player who chases whatever is existential for Aristotle this week—user research, investor prep, onboarding teachers, ops fire drills, anything.
Ideal for someone who is relentlessly curious, can pick up a new tool over lunch, and is motivated by reducing the company’s riskiest unknowns—even if it means switching contexts daily. You’ll leave with a company-critical project shipped, plus hands-on experience moving across operations, GTM, product, and whatever else the company needs.
