AI Operations Intern

Why This Role Exists

Aristotle is an 8-person team building the world's first truly personal AI tutor. To scale faster than headcount, we need an intern who can wire up AI + automations + humans into rock-solid workflows. This is not prompt-writing — it's rooting out operational chaos and replacing it with systems.

What You'll Do

• Map messy processes end-to-end, spot failure modes, and redesign them into reliable workflows.
• Build automations with Gumloop, Zapier, Retool, or quick Python scripts that pull in AI models, APIs, and alerts.
• Instrument every flow with metrics, fallbacks, and documentation so anyone on the team can operate it.
• Partner with product, support, and GTM to eliminate manual toil and unlock faster shipping cycles.

What Makes You a Fit

• You've shipped projects using data, APIs, or workflow builders (SQL, Sheets, Make/Zapier, custom dashboards).
• You're obsessed with reliability — alerts, logging, clear docs, and post-mortems are second nature.
• You can explain complex systems in simple diagrams and write-ups.
• You get energy from being the glue between product, engineering, and operations.

How We Work Together

You'll sit next to the founders in Hayes Valley, join daily stand-ups, and chase the biggest operational risks facing the company each week. We expect you to propose solutions, build them, measure impact, and iterate — often in the same day.
